Just finished Wildflower Hill and loved it! Cannot wait to pick up her other books!!!
thanks, marianne!
I most recently finished. I was moved to tears in a few moments of the given losses of events around the social/moral roles of the time with the horrid fears of facing the untimely role as a woman, alone…I am surprised by my tears, as I have not been moved to tears by a fiction since I was a little girl reading, Black Beauty…this has been about 52 years? Thank you, Kimberly Freeman. I want you to know that I just happened to have picked up your novel in my local library. I enjoyed coming to bedtime to learn what was going to happen next within what was the given time-line events for these two women. I do wonder of a sequel…but I suppose, I have come to live long enough to know the acceptance as what we know in our hearts.
thanks so much for your lovely words, edith. k
I’ve just finished reading Wild Flower Hill. I want to turn back to page one and begin it all over again! This is truly the most amazing book I have ever read. My heart feels broken, from every thing poor Beattie had to go thru! No book has moved me near as much as the way this one has. It is so full of love and strengths, devastation and heart aches. By far the best book ever!!!
Kathryn, I’m humbled by your lovely comments. I’m glad you enjoyed my story.
I finished reading Wild Flower Hill before three days. I was amazed, because of the whole story and what experiences this woman faced. I suggest a lot of people, men and women, to read this book. Really, it’s worthy!
Thanks for your lovely message.
Hi,
Have just finished reading Lighthouse Bay and absolutely loved it. I was sad the story ended and am now desperate to read more of your books. Thank you for a wonderful story. Cheers Christine
