It might be out of print at the moment. My Australian publishers were talking of reissuing it, so that might still happen. I have German copies of it, if you’re fluent 😉
Ms. Freeman, greetings from the U.S. I am an avid reader and patron of my city’s local library. I was thrilled to pick up a copy of Wildflower Hill at our library. Absolutely marvelous! Thank you for sharing your gift! I will be requesting more books that you have written. Can’t wait to read Isabella’s Gift! Thank you! Sondra
Kim I LOVED Lighthouse Bay and Gold Dust both of which I bought at the Brisbane Writers Festival. So sorry you were ill and couldn’t make it there to speak as I was so keen to see you and tell you in person what a great writer you are. Your books (all genres) entice the reader and suck you in so you simply cannot put them down until the last words are left ringing in your head. I remember you working on your first Kimberley Freeman book when I did QWC’s Year of the Novel with you – wow, your work continues to inspire and you go from strenght to strenght. You go girl! Love your work. Shari.
I just finished listening to the audio book version of Wildflower Hill and just loved it. You are an amazing author. This is the first book I’ve read of yours and intend to read all the rest. Just a comment on Wildflower Hill. I didn’t want it to end. I wanted Emma to have a conversation with Lucy when she went to her house. I had so many questions at the end. Why didn’t Lucy contact Beattie after she was grown with a family of her own? Wasn’t she curious about her mother? They were so close when she was little. Also, was Lucy happy with her life? What happened to Molly and her father? Was your intention for the readers to come to their own conclusions?
I still loved the book even though I was left with unanswered questions. I’m looking forward to more. Thank you! Diane
Thanks, Diane, I’m glad you liked it! I like to imagine that Lucy and Emma had a long chat over a pot of tea and had a lovely relationship from then on. Kx
I’m searching high and low for a copy of Gold Dust. Where can i find one?
